Who is Stella? Glad you asked!

stel·la, say [stel-uh] – noun

Hey Stella! is the conglomeration of all that inspires us. It is the all-encompassing goodness of bringing people, dreaming and nature together in a state so pretty one cannot resist.

Stella is the Latin and Italian word for star. Wikipedia gives honourable mention to the kind of stars we aspire to, stating, 'stars group together to form galaxies and dominate the visible universe.' The operative word of course been dominate! 'A star shines because nuclear fusion in its core releases energy which traverses the star's interior and then radiates into outer space.' Hey Stella! exactly!!

We like the idea that no matter what star you may be dreaming upon, someone, somewhere is doing exactly the same thing, connecting us all in this great galaxy. The overwrought analogy could continue...but we think you get the picture!

SAMANTHA CLARK - Hey Stella!

Picture of Samantha Clark

Painting for as long as she can remember, Samantha developed a keener interest in the creative industries after studying Interior Design and Decoration at the Commercial Arts Training College on the Gold Coast.

She has since worked for various designers and international development companies and is currently branching out with her own brand of original contemporary art, handmade homewares and recycled furniture.

The Hey Stella! style is bold, graphic and emotive, often revealing stories and urging the viewer to look again. Sam enjoys art that emphasises interior stylings but is most passionate about expressing energy onto canvas and challenging both herself and the viewer.
